Today, Discotek posted an update on their official Facebook page consisting of the text “Coming in July,” and the following image:

The cover confirms what we were all thinking: the third volume of Discotek’s FotNS release ends at episode 109, leaving the 43 episodes that originally aired as Fist of the North Star 2 for the fourth and final volume, also due out later this year. While the 109 episodes which comprise Fist of the North Star closely adapt the first three years of original manga material (albeit with considerable filler throw in), Fist of the North Star 2 is a much looser and incomplete adaptation of the manga’s final two years.

This cover features what appears to be cel art from the television show, but of a much better quality than what was used in volume 2, and therefore I’m pleased! What do you all think of it?
